2019 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

The three-day festival in downtown St. Petersburg opens the IndyCar Series season for the ninth straight year, March 8-10, 2019. Weekend general admission tickets are $55 for adults and a junior ticket for ages 12 and under is available for $30. 3-Day Grandstand seats start at $105 and $70 for juniors. As of November 7, 2019, Pit Access and Firestone Paddock Passes can also be purchased; single-day tickets will be released for sale closer to the event.

With the purchase of a 3-Day Grandstand seat, a limited number of Champions Club passes are available for $75 each until November 22, 2018. As announced previously for 2019, Champions Club members will now get unprecedented access to attend the official IndyCar drivers meeting on race day. Additionally, it includes a complimentary Firestone Paddock Pass to see the Indy cars up close, plus access to the pre-race grid walk, a souvenir credential with lanyard, discounts on official event merchandise, an opportunity to win a two-seater Indy car ride on track, and other exclusive at-event experiences to be announced leading up to the 2019 event.

Getting to the Race

Park Downtown: City parking garages are a $10-all-day event rate on Friday and a $15-all-day event rate on Saturday and Sunday.  Motorcycle parking is available for $5, Saturday and Sunday along the west side of 1st Street South between 1st Avenue South and Central Avenue.

Park and Ride Shuttle from the Trop:   From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. there is a free shuttle service from Tropicana Field to the race course. Park in Lots 1 and 2 at Tropicana Field, the cost will be $10 by crediti card only. The shuttle picks passengers up on 16th Street S. and drops off passengers at Second Street S. and Fifth Avenue S. The shuttle operates all three race days from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is ADA accessible.

Take the St. Petersburg Trolley: The Looper Downtown Trolley  and Central Avenue Shuttle  (St. Pete's trolley system) offers rides throughout Grand Prix weekend for .50 per person. The Looper provides a circular route between the city's parking facilities, hotels, restaurants and attractions at no charge.
