According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, drowning is the leading cause of injury death in US children 1 to 4 years of age and the third leading cause of unintentional injury death among US children and adolescents 5 to 19 years of age. In order to fight these tragic statistics, we must work together as a community.
The City of St. Petersburg Aquatics Department and St. Petersburg Fire Rescue are partnering up to raise money to provide free swim lessons to children in need. Together we will host a Firefighter and Lifeguard Car Wash!
